The city of Charleston will once again host The Basketball Tournament this summer.
The 2025 West Virginia Regional of The Basketball Tournament will be played at the Charleston Coliseum on July 18-23, and it will be the third time Charleston has hosted a TBT regional. Best Virginia, the West Virginia University alumni team, will return as the featured team in the eight-team regional, and Marshall’s alumni team, Herd That, will also play. The Basketball Tournament, is a 64-team, $1 million winner-take-all event with regional round games being played across the country.
