The USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships will return to Charleston May 20-26. City leaders outlined specifics of the race schedule Thursday, starting with individual time trials on May 20. The Road Race for Women U-23 & Men U-23 will be held on may 24. The Road Race for Men Junior & Women Junior will be on May 25, and the racing events will culminate with the Road Race for Elite Women & Elite Men on May 26. City leaders said the 2024 event drew nearly 3,000 overnight guests to Charleston area, generating a $4.6 million boost to the local economy.
