Charleston is hosting the West Virginia Girls Basketball Tournament at the Charleston Coliseum this week. The action started Tuesday with an all-local showdown in Class AA between Charleston Catholic and Logan. The Class AAA field features defending state champion Nitro, Wayne and Sissonville. In Class AAAA, Spring Valley is the top seed and is joined in the class by St. Albans and George Washington. The championships will be held on Saturday, March 15.
