‘Wolf of West Virginia’ to be sentenced for wire fraud this summer

A South Charleston man who portrayed himself as a millionaire real estate mogul with enough disposable income to travel the world has pleaded guilty to two counts in a federal indictment that said he used a website and social media to scam people out of money for fraudulent investment schemes. Theodore “Teddy” Miller also refers to himself as “The Wolf Of West Virginia,” and pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of wire fraud. The federal felony charges carry a charge of a 20-year prison sentence each; however, Eyewitness News said federal prosecutors and Miller’s defense attorneys agreed a sentence between 80 and 84 months would be sufficient. Miller is scheduled to be sentenced on July 2.
