A woman who fatally stabbed another woman in Kanawha County was in court Monday morning. 43-year old Amber Wymer pleaded guilty to second-degree murder as part of a plea deal. She was initially facing a first-degree murder charge in the stabbing of 20-year-old Abigail Marcinowsky at a home in the 800 block of Bauer Street in January 2023. Police said Wymer was in a relationship with the victim’s father and living at the home with them at the time of the stabbing. Eyewitness News said Wymer faces up to 40 years in prison.
