Earlier this week there were over 500 animals up for adoption at the Kanawha County Humane Association. The shelter hosted an emergency empty the shelter event on Tuesday with help from the Bissell Pet Foundation. All pet adoptions were $20. The shelter is still looking for adopters and foster families too. The shelter is open weekdays from 12-6 p.m.
