Transportation officials announced a portion of Interstate 64 in Putnam County will be closed for road work again tonight. Lane closures are planned along the John Janey Memorial Bridge from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, according to a news release from the West Virginia Department of Transportation. The bridge is located between mile markers 36 and 37 at Cow Creek. The DOT said work will be done in phases with one lane closing in each direction. Overnight closures have been scheduled to minimize traffic impacts.
