Logan HS gets new facilities

In less than two weeks, high school football teams will officially start practice in West Virginia, but at Logan High School, practice and home games will look a little different this year. On Friday, the county decided to shut down part of its football fieldhouse, including the locker rooms, after discovering structural issues. Now, modular facilities are on the way to provide places for locker rooms, bathrooms, offices and concession stands this season. The goal is to get them there before August 4 when practice kicks off. it was April when they found out there were some roof issues in this section of the athletic facility at the football field, but at that time, it seemed like a project that could wait until after the season. a recent inspection revealed it could not wait until then.
