A deadly crash in Lawrence County, Ohio, killed two people, including a 6-year-old. It happened just after 2 p.m. on Friday on State Route 7 in Union Township, according to a news release from Ohio State Highway Patrol. Investigators believe an SUV driven by Heather D. Reger of Proctorville, drove her SUV off the right edge of the road and hit a guardrail and then veered left into oncoming traffic, where it was hit head-on by James A. Riffe, also of Proctorville. Reger had three children in the car at the time of the crash, none of whom were wearing a seatbelt, according to WCHS TV. One of them, Bryston Adkins, 6, was pronounced dead at the scene, along with Reger. The two other children were taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital in critical condition.
