Marshall University hosted a economic development summit this week with the goal to advance its six pillars of excellence, which include aviation, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, advanced energy, entrepreneurship and cybersecurity. WCHS TV said leaders from government, academic researchers and those from the private sector were there to spark new ideas and to collaborate and drive these ideas into action. The university will offer support for the projects that come from this summit.
