Authorities are investigating after a human skull was found in Wirt County. State Police say a squirrel hunter made the discovery Sunday along an embankment off Courtney Ridge Road and called it in to the South Charleston office. The remains have not been identified, and the case is still under investigation. No word yet on how long the skull may have been there.
