For those involved in the Family Treatment Court program, West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Haley Bunn said it has been an all hands on deck effort searching for funding to stay afloat. A temporary grant to fund the courts through September was being depleted, and now, with a new grant that will fund the courts through the next year, Bunn said they can breathe a little bit. Now the hard work begins to save the program. Said Bunn, “We’re so pleased that we did find a gap-filler, but with the caveat that it is a gap-filler, and we’re looking to sustain this program long-term in the future,”
