Neighbors in Calhoun County are signing a petition to remove Jacob McCumbers from the county commission after allegations of sexual abuse. McCumbers was arrested last week and is set to appear in court on Wednesday, according to Eyewitness News. There is also a petition against Magistrate Richard Postalwait is in relationship to his setting the bond for McCumbers. The bond was set at $100,000 and allowed for property to be put up as opposed to it being a cash bond. In addition, anyone with more information should reach out to law enforcement.
