HGTV has released its list of the most charming small downtowns in America, and a West Virginia town made the list. The network gave attention to towns that they said “invite you in and encourage you to stay and explore.” Harpers Ferry, according to HGTV, is a charming small town with a “rich history and features several stunning 19th-century buildings.” Harpers Ferry also gained points for its outdoor activity. Many of the downtowns on the list feature historic architecture, boutiques, and festivals. Covington, Kentucky also made the cut.
