A Pike County woman has been arrested in connection with a black market drug distribution scheme involving unapproved weight loss medications.
Haley Schackart—also known as Haley Borders—is accused of purchasing the drug tirzepatide illegally from China, repackaging it under the fake name “TirzeLean,” and selling it to customers through her business, Pure Bliss Aesthetics & MediSpa in Waverly. The substances involved are not approved by the FDA and are considered dangerous. Authorities believe the scheme was intended to generate significant illegal profits while posing serious health risks to the public.
Search warrants were executed on September 18 as part of the investigation that lasted about a year.
