Five years have passed since the unsolved killing of a 15-year-old boy in northeast Columbus, and authorities are still asking for the public’s help.
Dawaun Lewis-Taylor was shot on September 29, 2020, in the Forest Park East neighborhood. He was found on Heatherton Drive with a gunshot wound and later died at the hospital.
The only lead in the case is a silver Chrysler 300 seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting, heading east on Trent Road toward Northtowne Boulevard.
