A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning in Boone County. State Police say 28-year-old Kaitlyn Gilliam ran into the road on Pond Fork Road in the Madison area and was hit. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say the driver stayed and cooperated. The vehicle was towed, and the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed.
