A Huntington man was killed in a crash on Interstate 79 in Braxton County on Sunday. 50-year old Chad Carpenter died after his motorcycle went off the roadway and crashed into a guardrail near the 72-mile marker, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police. Carpenter was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
