A Fayette County man is behind bars after deputies say he set a house on fire with two people inside. Forty-six-year-old Michael Eric Wood of Scarbro is charged with felony arson and two counts of attempted murder. Deputies say they first responded to a domestic disturbance Wednesday night, then returned a few hours later to find the same home on fire. The two people inside escaped unharmed. Wood was arrested without incident and is being held at the Southern Regional Jail on a $200,000 bond.
