The West Virginia Department of Administration has issued a Request for Proposals for a new online portal to simplify business permitting across the state.
Governor Patrick Morrisey says the “One Stop Shop Permitting Portal” will serve as a centralized dashboard, helping individuals and businesses identify the permits and approvals needed to operate in West Virginia.
The project involves several state agencies, including Commerce, Environmental Protection, and Transportation.
Morrisey says the goal is to cut red tape and speed up economic growth. Vendor questions are due November 3, and proposals are due by November 20.
