The University of Charleston is stacking up national honors. Niche.com named UC the number-one college in West Virginia for both 2025 and 2026. U.S. News & World Report lists UC as a Best National University, a Top Performer in Social Mobility, and ranks its nursing programs nationally.
UC also earned spots on the Princeton Review’s “Best Schools” list and Colleges of Distinction’s “Best Colleges” list.
Additional recognitions highlight UC’s online programs, cybersecurity degrees, and nursing opportunities, with College Raptor ranking the university fourth in the Mountain East Conference.
