Police look for suspects who stole thousands of dollars worth of groceries from Kroger locations

Deputies in Putnam County are asking for the public’s help in a shoplifting investigation involving thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise.

Investigators say more than two thousand dollars’ worth of wine was taken from the Scott Depot Kroger on December 7th. Then, on December 13th, about the same amount in groceries was stolen from the same store.

Deputies say multiple men were working together and were seen leaving the area in a blue Kia. Similar thefts have also been reported at a Kroger in Barboursville.
