Out if court settlement for 17 families who assert their child was abused while at Cross Lanes Day Care

An out-of-court settlement has been reached in lawsuits by 17 families, who alleged their children had been abused by a Cross Lanes daycare center where a teacher has already gone to prison for mistreating a special needs student. The amount of the deal is not being disclosed. Former daycare worker Amber Seiler went to prison for the mistreatment of a special needs child in Cross Lanes Child Care and Learning Center. She’s doing one to five years behind years for battery and assault of a disabled child.
