US Marshalls and Kanawha Deputiers served warrant and captured suspect

U.S. Marshals were aided by Kanawha County deputies in capturing a wanted man who fled from law enforcement on a side-by-side in Kanawha County.Timothy “Big Hurt” Jones is charged with kidnapping and wanton endangerment involving a firearm, that according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. The release stated an arrest warrant was issued following an incident reported in August 2025.On Wednesday, deputies said a SWAT Team and U.S. Marshals served the warrant at an Upper Drive address in Handley. Deputies said Jones fled from law enforcement on a four-wheeler, but wrecked and attempted to run away. The ATV Jones was riding had been reported stolen from Fayette County. Jones will be arraigned after receiving medical treatment and deputies say additional charges are pending.
