The annual WVU Day of Giving is set for this month

West Virginia University alumni and supporters will come together March 25 for the ninth annual WVU Day of Giving. The 24-hour fundraising event organized by the WVU Foundation will be the first Day of Giving under new president Michael T. Benson, who is encouraging donors to support scholarships to help more students complete their degrees.

Since 2017, the event has raised more than $142 million through over 47,000 gifts, benefiting student programs, research, health care, athletics and campus improvements.

Donations of five dollars or more can be made online during the March 25 event.
