With a heavy dose of snow causing numerous crashes throughout Kanawha County, a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Herbert Hoover High School is postponed. The ceremony had been set for noon Tuesday at the site for the new school, which is in the Given Fork area between the Elkview exit off Interstate 79 and U.S. 119. Kanawha County school officials said it has been rescheduled for noon Wednesday, Jan. 22.
