West Virginians are Urged to Complete the Census

The Census is important, and in fact some say the state of West Virginia missed out on millions of dollars because many people did not participate in the previous census. According to statistics from West Virginia Birth to Three, 5108 children younger than five were missed during the 2010 census and that would have meant $5 million in funding for federal programs. Census numbers impact funding for schools, roads, and more. National Census Day is April 1 this year.
