The Charleston Fire Department is looking for more than a dozen firefighters to join its ranks. After the application there are written and physical tests to take, and then the Charleston Fire Department Training Academy which is a 15 week program that focuses on medical and fire training. Applications can be found at www.charlestonfire.org, the CFD administration office or city clerk’s office. The deadline to apply is Feb. 14.
