The Kanawha County Board of Education will hold a special meeting this week to reconsider the appointment of a new superintendent. Last Wednesday the board voted to appoint Tom Williams as the next superintendent, to replace Ron Duerring, who is retiring in June. Board members are concerned the meeting did not comply with state open meeting laws.
