Frontier Customers Experience Land Line Outage Over the Weekend

More than 1,000 Frontier customers in Kanawha and Lincoln counties woke up to no landline phone service Saturday. At one point 1,600 customers were without service. WCHS TV reported Kanawha County 911 called on Alum Creek Fire Chief Jim Oldaker to field any emergency calls in his area and forward them back to the call center.
In the last few years, the West Virginia Public Service Commission has gotten over 4,000 complaints about Frontier Communications and an audit is in the works.
