Students Take Part in Match Competition at UC

More than 100 students from four counties will be competing today (Tuesday) for an opportunity to advance to the West Virginia Math Field Day competition. Boone, Clay, Kanawha and Putnam counties will be represented by 112 students at the University of Charleston in the Regional Math Field Day competition. Each county will send three students per grades from fourth grade to ninth grade. A high school team of 10 students will also be present from each county. Individual awards will be given to the top three students from each grade and the high school team with will receive a team award.
