Former nursing assistant Reta Mays is requesting to be assigned to a federal medical center in Texas for female inmates with special medical and mental health issues. Mays was sentenced to life in prison for killing eight patients at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center.
Governor Justice says the state may pay 500-dollars to encourage unemployed workers to return to work. Earlier this month, Justice said the bonus would be one-thousand-dollars, but he does not want to require employers to pay the five-hundred-dollar match.

A Fayette County woman is facing animal cruelty charges after fifty-five dogs and cats were found living in deplorable conditions with no access to food or water. At least five of the dogs had never shots or any veterinary care.
Police are looking for a missing three-year-old girl who was abducted by her grandmother in Fairmont. Emmalina Hinnerman was last seen leaving a home on Country Club Road in a gray car. The little girl is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes.
