WV Wesleyan College receives large donation

Former state Supreme Court Justice John McCuskey is donating one-and-a-half-million-dollars to his alma mater, West Virginia Wesleyan College. The donation will be part of the McCuskey Family Fellowship, and will be awarded annually to two incoming freshman and one rising sophomore.

WV’s population declines by over 3%

The U.S. Census Bureau is releasing data from the 2020 Census, and it shows that West Virginia’s population dropped over three-percent. That’s the largest decline in the country. The decline will cost the Mountain State one of its three seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
