Lawyer who fled to Nicaragua pleads guilty to fraud

A Charleston lawyer who missed a trial date and fled to Nicaragua is pleading guilty to fraud charges. Sixty-nine-year-old Bill Lester is accused of falsely reporting services to indigent clients, and overcharging for his services. He will lose his law license and face up to three years in prison.

Thousands of COVID-19 vaccine doses delayed

General James Hoyer says several thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine that were supposed to be delivered to Walgreens never arrived this week. He believes Walgreens will make-good with a double batch of doses next week.
