The 14th annual West Virginia Scholar Program is now open for applications. West Virginia high school juniors are eligible to apply for the full-ride, four-year college scholarship. Juniors have until April 30th to submit their application, for the scholarship valued at nearly 160-thousand dollars.

Huntington police are investigating a shooting on 22nd Street. A 29-year-old man was shot and several bullets hit a car. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
