Over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases

Health officials are reporting over one-thousand new COVID-19 cases, and more than thirty additional deaths. Over 130-thousand people have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

City Council considers new needle exchange ordinance

Charleston City Council is considering a new bill requiring harm reduction groups that distribute needles to obtain state certification, and it takes away the Police Chief’s power to authorize a group. Mayor Amy Goodwin sent the resolution to the Public Safety Committee for review.

High School Art Competition is Open Now
