News Staff The Boone County Health Department will not receive the COVID-19 vaccine until a clinical monitoring visit from DHHR. The quality assurance and monitoring process comes after more than forty people received an anti-body injection instead of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fire broke out for a second time at a vacant home on Homer Street near 7th Avenue. No one was hurt. A fire in December was blamed on squatters, and investigators think squatters are to blame again.
