Record number of West Virginians hospitalized with COVID-19

There are a record number of West Virginians hospitalized with COVID-19. Almost seven-hundred people are in the hospital, and nearly two-hundred are in the ICU. There are over 940 new cases of the virus, and seventeen more people have died. The daily positive test rate is over four-percent.

COVID-19 vaccine expected in WV in 24 hours

Christmas tree lighting Dec. 17th

The City of Charleston’s Christmas tree lighting will be on December 17th at Slack Plaza. An over twenty-foot tree will be the centerpiece, and it will be surrounded by twenty-six additional seven-foot trees. Local business and organizations will decorate the trees.

Body of missing Kentucky woman found

The body of a Kentucky woman who was reported missing more than a week ago has been found in Morehead. The remains were found near wolf Hollow Road, and have been identified as Jill Clayton. A homicide investigation is underway.

Chirstmas lights stolen from Charleston home

Just like the Grinch who stole Christmas, someone is stealing Christmas lights. Police are looking for four suspects who used wire cutters to steal decorations and four-hundred-dollars’ worth of LED Christmas lights from a home in Charleston.
