WV COVID-19 death toll over 900

The COVID-19 death toll in West Virginia is now over nine-hundred. Over thirty more people died in the past 24-hours. There are over 14-hundred new cases of the virus, and over 20-thousand active cases.

WV Secretary of State certifies election results

The West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office is officially certifying the state’s 2020 General Election results. More than sixty-percent of registered voters in the state participated in the November 3rd election, and more than half of all votes were cast before Election Day.

Man killed in chemical plant explosion

A Putnam County man was killed in an explosion at the Chemours Plant in Belle. Forty-two-year-old John Gillenwater died from injuries he sustained in the explosion on Tuesday. Three other workers were hurt.

Tragic Greenbrier County Fire Claims Five Lives

Authorities say five people died after a house fire Tuesday in Greenbrier County. WVU Basketball Home-Opener is Delayed

The Mountaineers basketball team had it’s home opener canceled this week against Robert Morris over COVID-19 concerns inside the Robert Morris program. West Virginia will make its first appearance at the WVU Coliseum against nationally-ranked Richmond next weekend.
