More than 600 hospitalized with COVID-19

West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is reporting over nine-hundred new cases of COVID-19, and twenty-nine more people have died. More than six-hundred people are hospitalized with the virus.

Fire destroys Dunbar car wash

Fire destroyed an abandoned car wash in Dunbar. The entire building was gutted. No one was hurt. Investigators say homeless people were staying inside, and the fire was started by candles.

Hundreds of law enforcement officers turn out to honor Johnson

Thousands of people lined the streets to pay respects during the funeral procession of Charleston Police Officer Cassie Johnson. Hundreds of law enforcement officers, from as far away as New Jersey, escorted the procession. Johnson was honored with a hero’s funeral after losing her life in the line of duty last week.
