Charleston police officers test positive for COVID-19

Eight Charleston police officers are testing positive for COVID-19. The officers are quarantined at home with mild symptoms. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is working on contact tracing and identifying people with which the officers might have had contact.

Dunbar Mayor-Elect injured in hunting accident

Dunbar Mayor-Elect, Scott Elliott, accidentally shot himself in the arm in a hunting accident. He’s in the hospital with what the sheriff’s office says is a serious, but not life-threatening injury. It’s the second hunting accident this week. Another hunter was injured on Monday when a gun went off while it was being unloaded.

Body found in Greenup County
