Two more men are under arrest in connection to a murder investigation in Mason County. Three men were shot in a home near Hannan. Two of the victims have died and one is in critical condition. A third suspect was arrested earlier this week.
Three people were hurt in a shooting outside Big shots Bar in Jefferson. The shots were fired when a large group got into a fight. The injuries are considered non-life threatening. No arrests have been made.
Nurses at Cabell-Huntington Hospital are rejecting a contract offer after months of negotiations. The union says it didn’t do enough to address health insurance costs or safe hospital staffing. Union officials are asking for additional negotiations.
West Virginia reached a new daily high in coronavirus cases Saturday morning with the addition of 1,153 positive tests.
