WVDHHR issues guidelines for Thanksgiving

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is releasing guidelines as Thanksgiving approaches. You should stay around immediate family members, and avoid large gatherings. One person should serve the food, and avoid passing plates around the table.

Four WV counties move into the “red”

Four West Virginia counties moved into the red on the state’s COVID-19 alert map. Jackson, Randolph, Marshall and Mineral counties all moved to from orange to red in the daily update. Sixteen counties are in the orange.

COVID Case Numbers Rise Over The Weekend

West Virginia reached a new daily high in coronavirus cases Saturday morning with the addition of 1,153 positive tests.
