Gov. Justice won’t change course on pandemic

Governor Justice says his successful run for office will not change the way he handles the COVID-19 pandemic. He is again, urging people to get tested, saying it’s the best weapon to keep the virus from spreading until there’s a vaccine.

Suspicious fire at Huntington apartment building

The state Fire Marshal is investigating a suspicious fire at a Huntington apartment building. It’s the second time the building on 3rd Street has caught fire in a month. Tenants were forced out after the first fire, and no one was hurt.

Clay County shooting under investigation

Police are investigating a Clay County shooting. One person is dead, and two people are in custody for questioning. A witness says, her son’s roommate got into a fight with another person, when shots were fired.

Fire destroys MacCorkle Avenue home

Firefighters battled a house fire on MacCorkle Avenue. A woman was at home, and made it out safely. The house is a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and investigators are labeling it a “suspicious fire.”
