Williamson’s only hotel will reopen later this year

The historic Mountaineer Hotel in Williamson is planning to reopen later this year. The hotel closed after struggling to recover from the pandemic, but it has partnered with the Choice Hotels group and plans to open again in December. The Mountaineer Hotel is Williamson’s only lodging option outside of Airbnbs.

2026 marathon will support UC Honors College
