Runaway kids found safe

Three young kids who ran away from home in the middle of the night have been found safe. The children, 11, 9, and 8, left their house west of St. Albans around 3:30 Monday morning. They were found ten hours later by someone trying to recover their UTV that was stuck in the woods.

Kanawha County deputies said a helicopter and bloodhounds were used in the search for three children who ran away from their caregivers west of St. Albans Monday. Triple-A is opposed to legalizing marijuana in West Virginia. Research from the Triple-A Foundation for Traffic Safety shows fatal crashes more than doubled in Washington State after marijuana was legalized there.
