Triple-A is opposed to legalizing marijuana in West Virginia. Research from the Triple-A Foundation for Traffic Safety shows fatal crashes more than doubled in Washington State after marijuana was legalized there.

Schools in Kentucky and Ohio are closing because of illness. Several schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday so classrooms can be disinfected. One-fifth of students at George Washington High School, in Kanawha County, were absent due to the flu, strep throat and other viruses.
