Stabbing Victim is Taken to the Hospital

One person was hospitalized Saturday morning after a stabbing in the 100 block of Campbells Creek Drive. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says two men were fighting when one was stabbed in the abdomen about 3 a.m. Saturday. The victim was transported to the hospital and the investigation is ongoing.

Gunnoe Farms says it will end its Charleston-based salad production after a dispute with West Virginia American Water. The company claims it’s owed over a million-dollars in damages from a 2014 chemical spill that affected production. The company’s sausage production is based out of Virginia, and will not be affected.

24-Hour air traffic control will continue at Huntington Tri-State Airport

Twenty-four-hour air traffic control service will continue at Huntington Tri-State Airport. The FAA says the airport’s control operations will not be subject to reduced hours. The FAA has considered cutting hours at airports around the country. Yeager Airport faced a similar mandate, and found out last month that it’s hours would not be reduced.
