Man who robbed West Side pharmacy sentenced to home confinement

The man who robbed a West Side pharmacy last year has been sentenced to home confinement. Forty-four-year-old Benjamin Lowman gave a Rite Aid employee a note that he had a gun and demanded pain pills. The pharmacy is out of business, so the judge ordered that restitution will go to the crime victim’s compensation fund.

Man accused of robbing Ashland, KY bank

A man accused of shooting at police during a pursuit is now linked to bank robbery in Kentucky. Thirty-four-year-old John Knotts is accused of robbing the PNC Bank on Blackburn Avenue in Ashland.
