News Staff West Virginia officials are warning that there may not be enough revenue to give teachers and public employees a raise. Tax collections were up in December, but state revenue is still more than thirty-million-dollars below expectations. They’re recommending that Governor Justice shouldn’t include a pay raise in his budget.
The FAA is conducting a study at more than a dozen airports to see if they can operate with a part-time control tower. Yeager Airport is part of the study, and it could result in the air traffic control tower going dark between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. to cut costs.
