Person of interest wanted in robbery and carjacking

Police are looking for a person of interest in a robbery and carjacking in Dunbar. Forty-year-old Timothy Walding Jr. is wanted for robbing the Hot Spot on Washington Street and then stealing a car a few hours later. Walding was last seen when he crashed the car and ran off in Sissonville.

Boaters Find a Body in the Kanawha River

Police in St. Albans are investigating after a body was found in the Kanawha River. The body was spotted by boaters about 6:15 p.m. at Roadside Park near the boat ramp. St. Albans and water rescue crews worked to recover the body.

Small businesses in West Virginia can start applying for a grant to help with financial stress from COVID-19. The West Virginia CARES Act Small Business Grant Program is now live. Businesses with one to thirty-five employees are eligible for grants up to five-thousand-dollars.
